Born in Malta in 1975, and having studied photography I began my career as a full time photographer with a studio in Sliema at the age of 20. After one year I followed my dream started my career as a photojournalist with The People newspaper and won the Malta Journalism Award for Press Photography in 1999. After travelling for a few years on my return to Malta in 2002 I spent three years freelancing before joining the Times of Malta, where I still work. I have covered major local and foreign assignments and am AFP’s (Agence France Presse) stringer photographer in Malta
My passion for photojournalism can be seen in the style I shoot weddings. I let things happen naturally and capture all the key elements, emotions and atmosphere of the day.
